October Favorites!

Hey Everyone,

So I am back at it again with another blog post! Whoop Whoop! As I am sure you can tell from the title, today’s post is going to be my October Favorites! I think the last favorites post I did was in March, so I am seriously behind on these! But never fear, I am back and so excited to share alot of new blog posts with you in the coming months!

I have compiled a list of what I have been loving this month, some of the things that feature in this post were given to me for my birthday as October is my birthday month, so I may not know where exactly everything comes from but I’ll try my best!

First up is a beauty and fragrance favorite!

This was one of the gifts I recieved and oh my goodness does it smell AMAZING! It is the Black Musk fragrance mist from The Body Shop. If you enjoy sweet smells then I would definitely recommend you try this product. I have been wearing it every single day since I got it. A relatively inexpensive yet incredible smelling perfume mist.

The next October favorite is a movie favorite! Now this isn’t a movie that has come out this month but unfortunately I have only just recently gotten around to watching it! None the less, it has now made its way onto my list of my top three favorite movies of all time.

It is ‘Before We Go’, defintely a movie to watch if you are a romantic like myself. Without giving any spoilers I will tell you that it covers love, loss, adventure and the trials and tribulations of relationships. It is a really beautiful movie about two people who meet at a train station by chance and spend an entire night and morning together going over personal details about each of their love lives. It sounds like a strange plot but trust me when I say that it is worth watching.

Next up is a clothing favorite! I don’t know if this is a recent trend or if I am just jumping onto the band waggon a little late but this month I bought an oversized denim jacket from my gran’s second-hand store and it had a number of really cool patches on it, so naturally I have now become slightly obsessed with patches!

Pretty cool right? Well I think so! I added some of my own patches to the back along with those that were alread ironed on to the jacket and I think it turned out pretty great!

Another beauty oriented favorite is the Lush Lip Scrub!

This particular scrub is in the flavor ‘bubblegum’. When you first open it up, you immediately smell the intense yet incredibly accurate bubblegum smell. The texture is obviously grainy but it is not extremely rough or damaging to the skin on your lips. Overall I would definitely recommend trying it out!

This favorite is another fashion favorite, and also a gift that I recieved for my birthday earlier this month!

Now you can see why I’ve been loving this bag! I am a huge fan of bright colors and I love the Aztec traingular pattern. Also, how cute are the different colored pom poms on the side of the bag? I unfortunately don’t know where this small bag is from. I would guess a store like Accessorize but then again I could be very wrong…

Next up we have the long awiated makeup favorite! Anyone who knows me will know that my favorite makeup product is almost always the highlighter! Gotta have that glow all day everyday!

This gorgeous product is the Mac Mineralize Skin Finish in Lightscapade! Can we just talk about the colors for a second? I mean how beautiful is the highlighter itself! If you are looking for a light shimmery highlighter then this is the one for you!

And last but certainly not least we have a smelling or rather a relaxation favorite! A candle of course!

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Because you cannot go wrong with a good smelling candle! This is the Summer Breeze candle from Woolworths. Think about the combination of sweet smelling vanilla with tropical fruit and that would be the perfect way to describe what this candle smells like! It is most definitely a must have!

So there you have it! These are all my October Favorites and the things that I have been loving this month! I hope you enjoyed today’s blog post and be sure to check back again tomorrow for a new one!

Have a happy weekend xx

My Top 10 Favorite Photographs Taken In September

Hey Everyone,

It has been quite a while, actually, its been over three months since I last wrote a blog post! So to make up for that, I wanted to share with all of you, my top ten favorite photographs that I took during and throughout the month of September. I am aware it is now almost the end of October, so I thought I would share the photographs I took during both months. So keep an eye out for Octobers picks (hint, hint) I am very proud to say that I did not have to source a location in order to capture any of these beautiful organisms, I found every single one of them in my own garden.

  1. The Palm

I am a huge fan of palm trees as I am sure most of you have noticed thanks to the @tiakatrinablog Instagram page. I found the bone-dry leaves made a really nice contrast against the blue sky in the background. Aren’t palm tree’s just beautiful?

2. Think Pink 001

I found these beautiful flowers in my own garden as well and couldn’t resist capturing them as they basked in the sunlight. I really love the different pops of color in this photograph as it draws the attention towards the flower itself. I guess it sort of reminds me of a far-out flower field.

3. The Bells

When I was little my gran always told me that these flowers got their name because of the way the lower flowers hung, resembling a bell. This has to be one of my absolute favorite pictures of all time. I love the bright and vibrant orange and magenta colors, as well as the various different elements that make up each flower.

4. Bone Dry

Yes, this is another palm tree, sorry not sorry. If you are following my blog’s Instagram page you would have already seen this photograph. I don’t quite know what it is about this photograph, but I absolutely adore it. The decaying leaves made for a very effective photograph.

5. Polka Dots

Anyone else find these leaves utterly intriguing? It almost looks as though someone has painted white spots onto the leaves. I could not pass up the opportunity to capture this unusual looking plant, and this was the result.

6. Think Pink 002

How amazing are the colors in this photograph? The flower itself is gorgeous but the faded ombre grey and peach colors in the background just add so much to the actual picture.

7. The Aloe

Need I say more? I am slightly obsessed with palm leaves as well as aloes. They have a wide variety of colors and the numerous layers just make it that much more beautiful. By far one of my favorite plants to shoot.

8. Purple Haze

I still cannot get over how incredibly bright these flowers are. When I first captured this photograph it reminded me of the brightly colored coral in Finding Nemo. My favorite aspect of this photograph would be that some of the flowers are in focus and some are blurred, that is one of my favorite effects.

9. Painted Sky

Now it goes without saying that any photograph of a sunset is just magical. I have taken photographs of many sunsets but this has to be one of my favorites. My favorite aspect would be the incorporation of so many different colors.

10. Little Lilacs

The final picture in my top 10 favorite pictures is of these small lilac flowers. I loved the yellow center and the white buds.

And there you have it, 10 of my favorite pictures taken this past September. I hope you liked them because I plan to continue this series in months to come. Let me know which was your favorite photograph!

MINIMALISM: The Editorial

Hey everyone!

I have some very exciting news! If you follow me on Instagram @tiakatrinablog, you would know that I have been working on a new video for quite some time! Today, my new video is up on YouTube!

I am so excited to share this with all of you because I have worked so hard on it and had the most incredible time shooting it. The video concept is ‘Minimalism’. I wanted the entire video to be very fashion and editorial oriented. I chose people I thought would give the video a different feel and I am very excited about the way that it turned out.

This is my very first time, having an organzied video shoot, as most of my other videos are fetsival aftermovies or holiday video diaries! All I can say, is that there will most defintiely be more videos like this in the future!

Today’s blog post isn’t going to be very long, I just wanted to share the news of my new video, with all of you. I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think of it!

Have a happy weekend xx

Shake Things Up!

Hey, everyone! It’s been a very exciting couple of days what with all the firsts that have been happening on my blog this week. So… I thought I would carry on with the tradition and give you a recipe! The first ever recipe to go up on my blog! Yay! So if you couldn’t already guess from the title, we are shaking things up (excuse the pun) and making a MILKSHAKE! But not just any milkshake… We are making a CARAMEL AND BANANA MILKSHAKE! This is my own original recipe and I was inspired by the Like Mother Like Daughter Caramel Banana Cream Pie! The ingredients I used are mainly items commonly found in your fridge and fruit bowl, which makes this recipe super easy to throw together.

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

For the ingredients you will need:

  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 a cup of Milk
  • 1 TSP Vanilla Essence
  • 35g of Caramel Sugar
  • 1/2 a cup of Cold Water
  • A couple Ice Cubes

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

  • First things first, peel and slice up your banana (The size is irrelevant).
  • Place 1/2 of the cold water into a purifier or blender.
  • Place your cut up banana into the purifier and blend until the consistency resembles a thin puree.
  • Set aside.

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Following on from that…

  • In a small saucepan pour in the other 1/2 of the cold water
  • Pour the milk into the saucepan and stir for a minute on low heat
  • Pour in the vanilla essence
  • Pour in the caramel sugar and stir until it is dissolved
  • Pour the caramel sugar mixture into another container or bottle and allow it to cool until it reaches room temperature.

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

After following those steps this is what you need to do.

  • In a blender place the ice cubes (You could also add some caramel or vanilla ice cream if you would prefer a thicker milkshake)
  • Pour in the room temperature caramel sugar mixture
  • Pour in the pureed banana
  • Blend it all up!!!

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

You can then choose to decant your Caramel & Banana milkshake into any cup, jar or bottle that your heart desires! You can add some whipped cream and maybe even a few sprinkles! I chose to pour mine into two glass drinking jars (Because maybe just maybe I have a mild obsession with jars) and then I just placed some stripey straws and in true blogger fashion, made them pose while I took numerous photos. I hope you will take this to your kitchen to try and maybe even make a milkshake out of a different dessert?!

How To Make A Summer Picnic & DIY Fort!

Hey, Guys! So today I have a very special blog post for you! It is the very first DIY on my blog! So what is the reasoning for this DIY? Well… my sister and I decided that we wanted to get outside for a change and have ourselves a picnic. But not just any old ordinary picnic, oh no. We made ourselves a Summer Picnic inside of a fort! So we collected all the colorful sheets we could possibly find, all the dream catchers we owned, a couple of fairy lights and you know of course the kitchen sink. It was a spur of the moment kind of idea which turned out to be one of the most fun DIY’s I have ever made and at the end of the day, we closed up the sheets, popped some popcorn and turned it into a movie night. What could possibly be better than that? This is one of the best ways to spend a day, out in the sun and creating something special for you to enjoy.

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

So in order to build this summer picnic fort, you will need a few essentials!

  1. Sheets of any kind (The more colorful the better)
  2. Pegs (To peg together the sheets)
  3. String or rope (To tie the sheets to or around the tree)
  4. A Tree (Or a few within close proximity to each other)

You can customize this DIY to your garden or the location of your choice. I started by tying the rope/string across a few branches to create a resting support for the sheets. I then hung one sheet over the rope, folding about 2cm around the rope, I then used a peg to keep it in place. I did the same with the sheet for the other side of our fort (This ended up resembling the stereotypical tent shape) I used two additional sheets to attach to the bottom of each of the top sheets and pegged them together. You may need to use a few rocks to hold down the part of the sheet that reaches the ground so that it doesn’t blow away!

So those are just some of the essentials you will need to actually construct the fort. Now onto the most fun bit. Decorating! There really is no set way to do this. My sister and I lay down a large towel and then decided to lay down two pool lounger mattresses as the base of our fort. We then placed a sheet over this to make it resemble a double bed. After this, we placed a blanket over the mattresses, placed a few bright pillows on either side of the fort, added a few more blankets to the mix, hung some fairy lights and some dream catchers. We added a speaker as the final touch and played some of our favorite songs.

Another fun tip for your fort is to create an activity basket. My sister and I took some of our favorite board games, coloring books, reading books etc… and added them to a basket, which we placed just outside our fort. That way we would have lot’s to do. As I mentioned earlier, you can turn the fort into an outdoor movie night as well. Just close the sheets, snuggle up, pop some popcorn, turn on the fairy lights and watch your favorite movies on your laptop!

So now that you have successfully completed the building and decorating of your fort, it’s time for the picnic! Who doesn’t love a picnic? So this is pretty much self-explanatory. Lay out a blanket, grab a basket and fill it with all your favorite treats and goodies. Finger foods work the best for picnics and are great for sharing with lot’s of people (Which I admit, I don’t do too often)

A tip for your picnic basket is to use a glass jar for decanting drinks into. It is easy to transport and leaves you with no mess. I made both berry and passion fruit flavored juices and placed it into glass milk style bottles. Plus, it ends up looking pretty aesthetic. Always got to think about the perks for Instagram and of course the blog. “Do it for the blog”

I had so much fun building this fort with my sister and even more fun at our summer picnic! I will definitely be doing this again and when I do, I will be sure to share it with all of you guys! I hope this has inspired some of you to go and build a fort of your own! It really is so worthwhile and so much fun! I made a video of our Summer Picnic on my youtube channel so be sure to click on the link below and check it out!

My Travel Bucket List!

Hey Everyone! Guess who is back at it again with another blog! Me! As promised, here is another blog post and the good news is that it is one day after the last one and not several months later (oops) So today I thought I would share with you the top 6 travel destinations on my bucket list! Since I am currently still at school, I have not yet been able to fulfill my dream of traveling the world. I have visited places like Dubai, the Maldives, Mauritius and of course some of the local places within South Africa. However, I have not been able to be a proper tourist when I visit such places. I will hopefully one day be given the opportunity to travel to all the continents of the world and stop by in as many countries as I possibly can! But for now, I have compiled a list of the places I most wish to visit!

Number one on my travel bucket list is to visit Navagio Beach in Greece. Now I’m sure not many of you know this, but I am actually of Greek descent. My great grandmother was born and raised in Greece. Naturally, it peaks my interest to visit the country from which part of my family originated. One place, in particular, is this beach. Navagio Beach, which is also known as Shipwreck Beach. It is an exposed cove, on the coast of Zakynthos, in the Ionian Islands of Greece. On the 2nd of October 1980, a ship named the MV Panagiotis got caught in a storm on the waters surrounding this beach. The ship was abandoned and still rests buried in the limestone gravel of the beach. The history aside, doesn’t this beach just look absolutely spectacular?

The second place on my travel bucket list is the Laguna Salada in Spain! This river is actually pink! Yes, you read correctly, the color of the water is indeed pink. The reason for the water’s beautiful blush color is due to a special type of algae that grows in high levels of salt. I have seen countless posts on social media from famous bloggers who have visited the Laguna Salada and it looks absolutely breathtaking. Can you imagine the beautiful sunsets that can be seen from this beach? I mean this is the kind of thing you dream of in your imagination.

Thirdly, I would love to visit the Cinque Terra in Italy. In English, it can be translated to “The Five Lands”. Cinque Terre is a large group of old seaside villages on the Italian Riviera coastline. In each of the 5 towns, there are colorful houses and vineyards. The most picture perfect village I have ever seen. Another fun fact about me is that I am also Italian. My grandfather was born and raised until he was about ten years of age, in Italy. I have seen pictures of the Cinque Terra all over platforms such as Pinterest and Tumblr and it has always been a dream of mine to visit Italy, yet another country pertaining to my history and origin. I hope to one day capture a picture of this beautiful village myself.

The next place to visit on my bucket list is the Rainbow Mountains of Peru, also known as the Ausangate Mountain.  The mountain is considered to be a holy place. It is a place of daily worship by the local citizens of Peru. The mountain is striped with hues and colors of blue, red and gold. According to many sources, it is apparently both difficult to find and get to. It is said to require a hike of several days. For a sight as spectacular as that, I wouldn’t mind terribly to hike for several days. I thought about adding climbing Macchu Picchu to my travel bucket list, but when I came across this, it was an obvious choice.

The fifth place on my travel bucket list is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. The Blue Lagoon is located in a lava field in Grindavik Iceland. The waters of the Blue Lagoon are rich in minerals and the temperature in the lagoon is said to average 37–75 °C. The lagoon is a man-made lagoon which is fed by the water output of the nearby geothermal power plant. Can you imagine being surrounded by ice and snow, but being completely warmed by the water inside the lagoon? Not only does the temperatures amaze me, but the beautiful ice blue color of the water amazes me too!

Last but most certainly not least, This incredible sight is what is known as The Umbrella Sky Project. This project was started in 2011 as part of the city of annual Ágitagueda Art Festival in Portugal. The months of July, August, and September, are incredibly hot in Agueda and so the city’s streets are covered in colorful umbrella’s. This helps to provide shade for the people passing through and there are also rooftop cables that are strung to help cool the roads in a vibrant and cost-effective way.

All six of these bright and vibrant places have something very special. Each destination has a beautiful story behind it and lets’s not forget that each of these places is mind-blowingly beautiful. I am so happy that I am able to share with you some of the places I hope to one day visit! What is your number one dream travel destination? Do you have a travel bucket list? Let me know!

Enjoy the rest of your week everyone!

March Favorites!

Hey, guys! This is officially my first blog post of 2017! How exciting! I’m so sorry I haven’t blogged in a while but I can now say that I’m back to blogging and I have some very new and exciting ideas to share with you soon!

So without further ado let’s get on with the March Favorites!

First up I thought I would share with you guys my current favorite clothing item! (Maybe even of all time) But then again I do tend to find a new favorite every week so let’s not be dramatic.

So this is a white navy striped linen off the shoulder shirt! From none other than Cotton On. Recently I have been loving the colour white and so naturally I fell in love with the shirt the minute I saw it. It can be paired with shorts or if it is a slightly more chilly day, then a pair of white jeans. Shirts that can be worn in more than one season and on more than one occasion are always rare, so when I say that this shirt is worth it, I really mean it!

Another clothing favorite of mine has been red clothing. Now I know that may sound a little weird and quite vague but trust me on this. A lot of stores that I have been to are selling a large selection of red colored clothing. Bare in mind that most of it are bohemian or fitting in with the theme of Coachella.

But as you can see, I have my fair share of red clothing in the form of shorts, body suits and shirts! I just love the bright red color during the summer season!

Next up we have a makeup favorite! I bought this product in October of last year, which I know is technically cheating considering this is a March favorites but I have gotten a lot of use out of it this month so it still counts!

Yup, I’m that cliched blogger with the Naked eyeshadow palette! But give me a chance to explain. I have been dying to get my hands on this palette for three years and when Urban Decay finally arrived in South Africa, I got my chance. I can easily say that this is the best eyeshadow palette I have ever used! I am a huge fan of nude and blush tones and therefore the shades in this palette are perfect! I have used every single shadow color and so far there have been no disappointments. The eyeshadow lasts me throughout the entire day and remains looking the way it did when I first applied it. Definitely an essential to your makeup kit!

Another March beauty favorite of mine is this incredible smelling body lotion.

This is the Zadig & Voltaire “This is her!” Scented body lotion. This body lotion has a very subtle sweet smell and I just absolutely love it!

Next up we have the best kind of favorite. Food favorites!

Even though it is the height of summer here in South Africa, I have been loving this hot chocolate. You know how you can make coffee using pods in a Nespresso Machine? Well, it turns out it works the same with Hot Chocolate. So every morning for the last month, I have indulged in a hot chocolate, with foam and of course the multi-coloured sprinkles! How can you forget the sprinkles? Not to mention I drink my hot chocolate in my new favorite mug, which isn’t all that visible in the picture, but trust me if you had this mug it would be your favorite too.

Another March food favorite of mine are these sugar-free berry mix flavored candy.

Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

I’m a sucker for any red or pink berry flavored sweets so these are an obvious favorite of mine. Although they contain some sugar, there is no additional sugar added to them, which makes them slightly healthier than most sweets or candies. So if you have a Woolworths where you live, I would definitely suggest giving these a try!

And last but certainly not least…

This month’s song favorite is… drum roll, please….

Kygo and Selena Gomez’s It Ain’t Me! I don’t know what it is about this song but it somehow always manages to improve my mood! It is the perfect song to listen to in the car, with friends or actually anytime of the day. So if you haven’t already heard, go and give it a listen immediately!!!!

So those are my March favorites! Let me know what things you have been loving this month! Anway, have a great week everyone and I promise I’ll be blogging a lot more in the future!!

November Favorites

So I know it’s a little late and it’s basically December already but who cares. I’ll just do a December favorites next week and all will be good and right again in the world. So let’s get into what I’ve been loving this month shall we…

I’ll start with makeup favorite. So over the past few months I’ve been collecting a few makeup products that I’ve seen all over the internet. I have become slightly obsessed with the eye shadow pallets by Urban Decay, and thought that they were the holy grail of cosmetics. That is until I found this months makeup favorite. I picked this product up just this past weekend and it has already slid into first place for beauty favorite of the month.

This here is the HOOLA by Benefit bronzer.

You would apply this like any other bronzer, on the cheekbone or perhaps to contour your nose. I was actually recommended this product by one of my good friends Lauren. Thank you Lauren for introducing me, to what might in turn be my favorite makeup product of all time. The reason I love this product so much is because it really and truly does contour your face exceptionally well and allows you to look…well.. bronzed and golden. You know what I always say… Stay Golden. Not only does this product have a brilliant finish, it has basically taught me how to contour my face!

Moving onto fashion favorite of the month. Now this is more of a fashion accessory rather than an actual item of clothing. I guess I can thank Pinterest for my newfound fashion obsession.

All these brightly coloured caps are from Cotton On.

This is my favorite cap at the moment. I’m shady and you know it.

The obsession even went as far as me asking all my friends to go to Cotton On, and each buy me a different cap, as a gift for my birthday. As you can see I have quite a few, but of course I plan on buying more. Way more. You can wear a cap for every occasion, every outfit, no matter the weather. That’s what I love so much about them! Caps are also very easily accessible, you can find them at almost any store. Some of my personal favorite cap selections would be from Cotton On, Topshop and Forever 21. So if you are looking for a way to spruce up an outfit, why not buy a cap!

Next we have music favorite of the month. Now this was a hard one considering my favorite song changes almost every three days. But none the less, I managed to round it down to one song, because it is just that good!

Leave it to Charlie Puth to have you swooning and jamming all night long. One of his newest songs on his Nine Track Mind album is Dangerously. This song is absolutely unbelievable. I am so obsessed with it, that I have learnt all the lyrics in one day. Now incase you didn’t know, my favorite genre of music is Deep House. However, I would most definitely make an exception for Charlie Puth. Thank you for creating such a master piece.

I think it’s time we now moved on to something that consumes our daily lives, and that is social media. So what is my social media favorite of the month? Thats easy… Pinterest. As if I havent mentioned it enough in all three of my most recent blog entries. Well guess what? I’m going to talk about it again…

As someone who has such an appreciation for the fashion and photography world, I deeply enjoy having a lengthily scroll everyday through my Pinterest feed. I am inspired by the art, quotes and beautiful people who fill it. I very often use Pinterest to get ideas for various projects or for my own personal ventures. It is a nice way to just relax and immerse myself in all that it has to offer.

Another thing to do with social media is the Snapchat filters. I don’t know about you but I personally get very excited to see what new filters Snapchat has to offer everyday. So although this technically is not a proper favorite, I thought I would show you my two favorite Snapchat filters for the month.

Although nothing will ever top the infamous dog filter, the ‘deer’ filter is a pretty close second. I just find it hilarious to send videos using this filter, because it changes your voice to become high-pitched. The other filter I have been loving this month, is the shades, not to mention the awesome music that accompanies this filter , which is Now Or Later by Sage The Gemini, and of course after using this filter, I went and downloaded the song.

So although I don’t have a particular food favorite, I do have something that I love, which is ever so slightly related to food… not really.

I just absolutely love this Happy Water glass bottle. Although this is only filled with water, you can fill it with whatever your heart desires. A personal favorite of mine is to add different fruits to infuse the water. A little hint, infusion might be one of the recipes coming up sometime soon! It’s perfect for hot days, because it is a great way to stay hydrated. Also, let’s not forget that it’s aesthetically appealing too, because I mean we have to keep up with our Instagram themes right?

I know some of these favorites of mine aren’t exactly the generic ones, but I promise that my December favorites will be.

Jingle Bells!

So…. It’s almost that time of year again. The time where red and gold tinsel gets placed around the house, when we pull out our Michel Buble and sing Christmas songs, place our mistletoe and celebrate.

In fact, in two days it will be one month until Christmas! How very exciting is that? Now I don’t know about you guys but Christmas is most certainly my favorite holiday of the year!

I mean just think about it. On what other holiday do you get to decorate a whole tree the way you want, sing songs and have no one complain (Unless you have a voice like mine, then people might complain) Wear excessive amounts of sparkles, eat tons of food and let’s not forget that Christmas time is also the best time of year to give back. We so often get caught up with wanting the year to end, for our own respective reasons, that we fail to think about how exciting and important Christmas might be to those that are less fortunate than ourselves. I guess you could say that it is my favorite holiday because it is a time where everyone can feel special.

Like I said… on what other holiday do you get to decorate a tree with reams of tinsel, ornaments, and lights.

One of the most exciting moments for me is when you have worked hard to decorate the tree, you have hung all the ornaments and lights, you place the star, and it’s now time to see if they work. The sight of those beautifully bright lights as the finishing touches on the tree, really makes it that much more special. We decorated our Christmas tree very early this year compared to previous years. I guess we just couldn’t wait to get into the Christmas spirit.

These are just a few of our ornaments!

Oh, and who could forget about the holly reaths on the doors. Or in my case, around the candles and on the wooden benches (what can I say, we do things differently) None the less, I still think they look absolutely magical, wherever they are placed.

This is my personal favorite!

But what is Christmas known for? The gift giving of course! How could one forget when it is a tradition to hang up your stocking above the fireplace, and wait to see what goodies you receive! You know it’s Christmas when it is finally time to hang up that stocking of yours…

These are our trusty Christmas stockings!

So if you didn’t know already that I am ever so slightly obsessed with Christmas time, then you definitely do now. Although it is only in a month, it is never too early to start celebrating and jamming out to ‘Santa Claus Is Coming To Town’. So to everyone out there that celebrates Christmas, I wish you all the very best and hope you have a wonderful time this festive season!
